Honey & Lemon Glazed Chicken

Florabella wildflower honey caramelises in the oven creating a golden, fragrant glaze. The key is adding the honey only in the last 15 minutes so it does not burn.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs (bone-in)
  • 3 tbsp Florabella wildflower honey
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • rosemary, salt, pepper

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, crushed garlic, salt, pepper and rosemary.
  2. Coat the chicken thighs in the marinade and place in a baking dish.
  3. Roast for 30 minutes.
  4. Mix the honey with a teaspoon of lemon juice and brush generously over the chicken.
  5. Return to the oven for 12–15 minutes until the glaze is golden and caramelised. Rest 5 minutes before serving.
