Brown Butter Toast with Wildflower Honey

Brown butter and raw wildflower honey are one of the great underrated pairings in food. Florabella honey, poured over still-warm toast with slightly salted brown butter, is the kind of thing you make once and then make every morning.
Ingredients
- 2 thick slices good bread (sourdough or brioche)
- 40 g unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp Florabella wildflower honey
- flaky sea salt
Method
- Melt the butter in a small pan over medium heat, swirling gently until it turns golden and smells nutty (about 3–4 minutes). Watch carefully.
- Toast the bread until golden.
- Brush the toast immediately with the brown butter.
- Drizzle Florabella wildflower honey generously over the top.
- Finish with a pinch of flaky salt. Eat immediately.
